CUBS
Cubs Scouts is where our children come to learn, grow, and become great youth
through fun and educational experiences, focused around values.
We provide a positive place where youth aged 8 to 10 can enjoy safe and wholesome activities.
Our focus is on building character, improving physical and mental fitness, and teaching practical skills not found elsewhere, all the while developing the spirit of community.
Our Cub Pack meets Wednesdays at the Glendale Community Hall from 6:30 – 8 pm.
Meetings are where we do cool stuff like:
learn astronomy, make crafts, go snow shoeing, earn badges, play games, build and race wooden cub cars, participate in sports, collect stars, plan holiday parties, practice cheers, tie rope knots, sing songs, write skits, and make friends.
Outside of the hall we:
Participate in fun activities
Try archery, make pizza, swim in a wave pool, go tobogganing, or build a 12 foot castle
Work on our outdoor skills
Learn to ice fish, go canoeing, build fires, and attend Cub O Rama Camp
Go on excursions
To a fire hall, the LRT barns, of a fish hatchery
Actively participate in our community
Take part in Remembrance Day ceremonies, perform community service, collect bottles, and plant trees
