help spread good words
The Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association is an entity, it’s a living thing that grows within the property lines. The community association has a story that’s always changing, and a reputation that has unique meaning to many of our members and guests that also happened upon our spot on the globe.
The GGMCA Board is responsible for promoting this long established community association to residents of Glendale & Glendale Meadows. GGMCA has a few different channels where information about the association, its purpose, the mission, and supporting events and programs are communicated.
Sharing your review and photos from your favourite moments at the community association facilities helps us share the Glendale community story to a wider audience. That audience may be looking to move to Glendale or nearby, or are looking for an activity that is hosted at The Hall, want to join the tennis/pickleball set, or attend an event that means the whole world to someone.
Our community association also relies in part on the shared good words in social media from GGMCA members, residents of the community, and from those that choose to have The Hall, The Courts, The Rink, The Gardens, or The Play Park as a part of their day.
Our social media presence on FB, and IG is managed by a volunteer and GGMCA board member.
Our Google Business page is aimed at those that generally have a commercial or financial relationship with the community association. If someone has rented The Hall and thought it was out of this world great event and wanted to share photos and a review of how well it all went, Google will take that submission here.
The GGMCA Board of Directors (all volunteers) coordinates their respective contributions of time and labour and donations into programs and services that are available to the community at large. The GGMCA Board also creates opportunities for other organizations and private citizens to produce programs and services they offer to Glendale residents and wider communities. When we see program participants posting photos and videos of their special moment somewhere within GGMCA, those stories get seen by board members and shared within their networks. It’s a team of volunteers that look after the social media including Facebook, our website, our Google presence, our membership portal, and our monthly GGMCA newsletter. Your contribution is catnip to us really. Keep it coming.
Sharing positive comments about the community association on our social media channels or by participating in programs you recommend is important. Thank you for sharing these stories with us.
If your story is difficult to share or might not be positive, that’s OK to have that story and if you would share it privately, we want to hear from you.
Simply add your comments to an email and send to any of the GGMCA Executive listed. If you don’t recognize a name or a role that fits your feedback, start at the TOP with a message to the President. You can find contact emails on the Board page.
