Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association

The Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association is a volunteer board responsible for operations and activities at the Glendale Community Hall at 4500 25th Ave. SW in Calgary.

The GGMCA is looking for a multi-skilled handyperson to take on maintenance and small project duties at our newly renovated hall for approximately 5-10 hours a month on an ongoing basis. Candidates should live in or near Glendale and take pride in our wonderful community. Candidates must have their own Workers Compensation Board coverage.

Responsibilities will include keeping track of regular building maintenance issues such as changing furnace filters, gutter and fence maintenance, ensuring sidewalks and staircases are clear of snow and ice, ensuring garbage bins throughout the property are emptied during winter months. There are also multiple small construction type projects, including tiling and carpentry. We are looking for a person who is 100% committed to safe work practices, who has a flexible schedule and is able to respond to rare emergencies on short notice.
