Maintenance Summer Student Needed

Community Hall Property Maintenance Summer Student 

The Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association is a volunteer board responsible for operations and activities at the Glendale Community Hall at 4500 25th Ave. SW in Calgary.

The GGMCA is looking for a self-starting senior highschool or post-secondary student to perform a range of property maintenance jobs, including lawn maintenance, leaf collection community garden care, and general light duty maintenance work, including keeping the 6 acre property clean and garbage free. Candidates should be comfortable operating diesel lawn tractors and gasoline blowers and have a mechanical aptitude for ongoing minor vehicle and machine maintenance. Special consideration will be given to candidates who live in or near our community of Glendale.

Hours: 20 hours per week (Hours are flexible to accommodate school schedules)

Rate: $17 / hour

Starting: May 1, 2024 until August 30, 2024
