Notice of Special Meeting Nov. 11, 2020 7 p.m. Glendale Community Hall

The Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association is holding a special meeting of the board to amend its bylaws to make it legal to host virtual meetings of the Community Association Board. The following is the amendment to be tabled at a Special Meeting on Nov. 11, 2020 at 7 p.m. at the Glendale Community Hall. Those community members in good standing who wish to vote on this motion are asked to register in advance to attend the social-distance meeting in person. Email membership@myglendale.ca to register. 1. BYLAW AMENDMENTS

Motion:  To authorize a Special Meeting of the Board to amend Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association Bylaws to allow for virtual meetings (including voting rights). Such notice to the community requires a minimum 21 days notice.

The Special Meeting will be held on Nov. 11, 2020 at 7 p.m. Pursuant to Article VIII to ADD
XI.06  Notwithstanding Article III.10
Any meeting of the Members, or the Board, may be held electronically via video, phone or both.  This Article does not amend any notification periods in the bylaws.  The means of the electronic meeting must be publicly available and may involve a nominal cost to the Member or Director to access.

Also, to AMEND the definition of “Notice in Writing” to add “The Association’s website, social media” between “(fixed or not) and “and email”.
